Remembrance Day Ceremonies in Hamilton, Burlington, and Brantford

Indigenous Veteran’s Day Event in Hamilton

An event to mark Indigenous Veteran’s Day will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, November 7, at Battlefield House Museum and Park, 77 King St.

“This service acknowledges and commemorates the contributions made by Indigenous veterans in service to Turtle Island,” the City of Hamilton said in a news release.

The city’s garrison parade is scheduled to begin at 10:15 a.m. on November 9, followed by a service at 10:45 a.m. The procession of Hamilton veterans, garrison units, and cadet corps will start at the John Foote V.C. N. and proceed south to Gore Park on King Street East. The service will be held at Veteran’s Place in Gore Park.
