Seven years since their last appearance on the cover of Kerrang!, Good Charlotte's Benji and Joel Madden have undergone significant changes. Now older and wiser, they have been consumed with work on the other side of the music business, seemingly putting their band on the backseat.
However, with their imminent eighth album, Motel Du Cap, they prove that they will never stray far from their roots. The album's title is inspired by the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc, a luxurious hotel on the French Riviera.
“We’re hungrier than ever… This story is still…”
First opened in 1870 as a private mansion under the name Villa Soleil, the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc has hosted many famous guests, including John F. Kennedy, Winston Churchill, Richard Burton, Elizabeth Taylor, Ernest Hemingway, and F. Scott Fitzgerald, who immortalized it in his novel Tender Is The Night.
Author's summary: Good Charlotte returns with a new album.
