Trysull and Seisdon WI members have once again honored Remembrance Day by placing poppies on the war memorial at Trysull church.
This marks the fourth consecutive year that the WI has arranged the poppy display at the memorial, paying respect to those who sacrificed their lives during the war.
Members dedicated significant effort to knitting thousands of poppies as a heartfelt tribute. Alongside the traditional red poppies, purple ones were added to remember the animals that served and died alongside soldiers.
Several passers-by remarked on the beauty of the display, noting it as a fitting tribute to those who gave their lives.
Such dedication sustains public remembrance and respects the sacrifices of both soldiers and service animals.
