Arkansas Baseball Team Wins Against Dallas Baptist
The Arkansas baseball team defeated Dallas Baptist 5-3 in an exhibition game at Baum-Walker Stadium.
A big seventh inning gave the Razorbacks the lead, and superb defensive play secured the win.
- Arkansas left fielder Brenton Clark made a crucial catch to end the top of the ninth inning, robbing DBU catcher Mac Rose of a 2-run home run.
- Clark, a redshirt freshman, timed his leap perfectly on the wind-aided ball.
“Right when it was hit we knew it was going to go to the fence. We just didn’t know if it was quite going to get over it,” - Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn.
