Steelers Lose Yet Another CB vs. Browns

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. was evaluated for a head injury against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.

During the latter half of the matchup, Porter headed off the field and into the blue medical tent on the sideline. Before that, he nearly intercepted a Dillon Gabriel pass meant for Jerry Jeudy, which led to a field goal for the Browns, making the score 23-9.

Other Steelers players, including Darius Slay and Brandin Echols, were also injured during the game. Slay suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter and was listed as questionable to return, while Echols was banged up before Porter in the fourth quarter.

After being evaluated, Porter exited the tent without a helmet and jogged back and forth on the sideline before ducking back under the cover.

No official statement was given regarding the severity of Porter's injury.
