Young Bradford Boxing Talent Wins English Title and Eyes 2028 Olympics
Bradford's Harris Hashim has won gold at the England Boxing National Development Championships, earning a national title in the 60 to 63kg category.
Hashim's victory came after defeating top boxers from various regions, including Yorkshire, the North West, and the East Midlands, without any byes or step-asides.
In the final, he faced Theo Jones-Lambert from Centurions Amateur Boxing Club in Colchester, securing a gold medal win via unanimous decision.
This achievement has brought pride to Bradford and his gym, Aztec Boxing Club on Fairbank Road.
Hashim's remarkable win has set his sights on the 2028 Olympics.
