A man has died after a shooting involving Phoenix police officers on Saturday night near 83rd Avenue and Indian School Road.
The incident occurred just before 8 p.m. when officers responded to reports of a fight. Upon arrival, they found a man and woman arguing near an apartment complex.
The man was allegedly holding a knife to the woman's throat and failed to drop the weapon, according to police.
Authorities shot the man, who died from his injuries at the scene. No officers were injured and there are no outstanding suspects.
