Warsaw Parks Department Prepares for Winter Season
The City of Warsaw's Parks and Recreation Department received a matching grant for a proposed new skate park.
The grant was awarded after the Parks and Recreation board applied in June for a Dekko Foundation Grant. The board was awarded a $40,000 matching grant.
Parks Superintendent Larry Plummer stated that
the grant will go toward the project and will hopefully be favorable toward the community.
The department is also pursuing additional grants, such as with the K21 Foundation and the AWS Foundation.
