Former Ambassador Nathi Mthethwa will be laid to rest at his homestead in KwaZulu-Natal, with a Special Official Funeral Category 2, as granted by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Mthethwa, the Ambassador to France, died two weeks ago after a fatal fall from the 22nd floor of a Paris hotel. His body was repatriated from France on Friday and transported to his homestead in KwaMbonambi, KwaZulu-Natal.
President Ramaphosa is expected to deliver the eulogy for the former Cabinet Minister during the funeral service on Sunday.
