Redistricting Task Force Grapples with Vermont's Uniqueness

Parents from Dover, Landgrove, and Londonderry expressed their desire to continue sending their children to Burr & Burton Academy in Manchester.

High school students from around Windham County participated in the second annual Reality Fair at Leland & Gray Union Middle High School in Townshend.

Rich Werner of Dover, chairman of the River Valleys Unified Union School District, called Vermont "a unique place."

He cited transportation in rural and hilly areas as a major issue to consider, telling the task force,

"You guys don't have an easy job."
