Talk on Shyam Benegal’s Films at MOF on Sunday
The Star of Mysore reports that the Mysore Open Forum (MOF) has organised a talk on ‘Appreciating Shyam Benegal’s Films’ by Maithili Rao.
Maithili Rao, a well-known Film Critic and Author, will give the talk at 10:30 am on Sunday at Kalpa Kshetra Auditorium, Mysuru.
Maithili Rao started her career as a lecturer of English, then moved to subtitling and writing on cinema. She has written for Sunday Observer and Eves Weekly, and has received several awards for her work, including the Satyajit Ray Memorial Award in 2024 and the Bimal Roy Memorial Committee’s Award in 2023.
