Quad's Platina Integrated Amplifier
Quad has announced the Platina Integrated, a dual-mono Class A/B amplifier and the first member of its new Platina Series.
The amplifier promises 200wpc into 8 Ohms and 300wpc into 4 Ohms, with a massive 630VA toroidal transformer and large filter capacity in the power supply.
A massive, ultra-low-noise 630VA toroidal transformer... combines with a large filter capacity in the power supply (44,000uF per channel) and cascaded voltage regulators in the analogue and digital sections to uphold QUAD’s reputation for musical integrity.
The back panel features six digital inputs, including 2 x coaxial, 2 x TOSLINK, USB-C, and HDMI ARC.
