For years, Chiefs fans had to choose between church and Game Day at Arrowhead. In 2014, owner Clark Hunt launched the Faith and Family Chapel, a non-denominational worship service held every Sunday morning when the Chiefs have a home game scheduled at noon.
“What started as a simple pregame service has grown into something much bigger,”
said Cedric Hardimon, pastor at Life.Church East Kansas City. The Chapel, located next to the southern corner of Arrowhead Stadium, has become a meaningful part of the game day tradition for many fans, thanks to dedicated volunteers.
The service has grown in popularity, drawing larger crowds each week.
