Somerset Winter Coat Initiative Returns Ahead of Winter Months
Somerset Council’s Winter Coat Exchange is back, allowing residents to donate or collect free coats for adults and children at participating libraries.
The scheme, now in its third year, aims to help those in need stay warm during the winter months. Last winter, 2,470 coats were donated and 2,086 were taken, with excess donations given to RAFT - Refugee Aid From Taunton.
