Letterkenny Estate Residents Concerned About Speeding

Donegal County Council has been asked to consider adjusting the entry and exit points of the Ashlawn estate in Letterkenny to reduce speeding.

Councillor Jimmy Kavanagh raised the issue at the Letterkenny-Milford Municipal District, citing concerns from residents who feel they are "fighting for their safety" due to the behavior of some motorists using the estate as a through road.

There is a genuine fear there that someone is going to get seriously injured or worse.

Cllr Kavanagh presented proposals to curb speeding, including designating the bottom junction with the Ramelton Road for entry only.
