Another wave in the Atlantic may develop next week, No threat to Carolinas

Atlantic Hurricane Season Update

A new tropical wave in the Atlantic has a 20% chance of developing in the next seven days.

The National Hurricane Center is monitoring the wave, which is expected to move west into the Caribbean.

Currently, it poses no threat to the Carolinas or the mainland U.S.

Tropical Storm Lorenzo, the twelfth named storm of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season, has dissipated.

No other tropical cyclone exists at this time over the Atlantic Ocean.

The Atlantic Hurricane Season ends on November 30th.

No threat to the mainland U.S. at this time.
