Women of Influence Nanaimo Award Nominations Open
Nominations are now being accepted for the Women of Influence Nanaimo awards, to be held on February 11.
The gala event, entering its third year, raises funds for Footprints: Infertility and Pregnancy Loss Support Society. The nomination period runs until either 150 nominations are received or October 31.
"This year’s theme takes the WIN Awards on a world tour, showcasing cultural pride, Canada pride, and the change-makers shaping our community’s future,"
said Blaise Hunter, WIN chairperson. The event has had sold-out crowds of 700 guests in the past two years, with the most recent gala raising $30,000 for the support society.
