Highway 4 Reopens After Crash
A car crash had closed Highway 4 between Parksville and Port Alberni since 1:30 p.m., but it has now reopened.
RCMP and BC EHS have not provided information on the cause of the crash or the status of those involved. DriveBC had expected to provide an update at 7 p.m., but it is possible that no new information on the reopening time would be available.
DriveBC did not post an alternative route between Port Alberni and Parksville. Some drivers reported being turned around due to the lengthy closure.
