Galveston County Opens New Mental Health Wellness Center
The Galveston County Mental Health Wellness Center, an eight-year project, was inaugurated with an open house celebration in La Marque.
County officials, including Galveston County Judge Mark Henry, Commissioner Hank Dugie, and Texas Rep. Greg Bonnen, attended the event.
Felicia Jeffery, CEO of the Gulf Coast Center, provided tours of the facility, highlighting its significance in mental health care.
The facility was lauded as “historic” by county officials.
Galveston County Local Health Authority Dr. was also present at the celebration.
