U of A faculty are invited to register for the Mentoring Graduate Students Workshop and the Bridge Mentoring Program Workshop series during the spring 2026 semester.
These Faculty Affairs initiatives are designed to support the success of all U of A faculty and those who are new to the university, respectively.
Mentoring Graduate Students Workshop
This eight-session workshop series discusses best practices and offers guidance on how to supervise, inspire, support and professionally develop graduate student mentees.
- Develop a mentoring philosophy
- Experiment with various methods of mentoring
- Discuss mentoring challenges and successes with peers
Participants must attend all eight sessions.
