Meth-Fueled Crime Spree Terrorizes South-West Residents

A four-day crime spree in rural south-west Victoria has left residents terrified.

Daniel McKenzie, 26, from Portland, pleaded guilty to approximately 40 offences in the Warrnambool Magistrates' Court on October 15, 2025.

McKenzie attempted to break into a Gorae West home, armed with a knife, making threats to kill a male resident.

He has already spent over 100 days in custody and will be sentenced on November 28.
