Next Jeep Compass to Be Built in the U.S.
Stellantis will invest $13 billion over the next four years to increase its domestic manufacturing footprint and create more than 5,000 jobs.
- Investment will go to four plants in Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.
- The money will be used to manufacture five vehicles and a new four-cylinder engine.
“Accelerating growth in the U.S. has been a top priority since my first day,”
CEO Antonio Filosa said. The next-generation Dodge Durango will be assembled in Detroit, while the Jeep Grand Wagoneers will be manufactured in Warren, Michigan.
