PMDC Announces Maximum Annual Tuition Fee for Medical and Dental Colleges
The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has set Rs. 1.89 million as the maximum annual tuition fee for medical and dental colleges for the 2025–26 academic session, a 5% increase from last year’s limit.
According to details, the Rs. 1.8 million cap set for 2024–25 will rise by 5% for 2025–26. From 2026–27 onward, annual fee adjustments will align with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation rate.
The new structure was recommended by the Medical Education Committee formed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The PMDC has warned that any institution charging or displaying fees beyond the approved limit will face disciplinary action, including suspension of accreditation, student admissions, or other legal measures under Section 33 of the Act.
