My Experience with the Jeep Wrangler
After 16,000 miles in a Jeep Wrangler, I found it difficult to say goodbye to the hardy 4x4. The brightly colored off-roader has been used for various excursions.
The characteristics that make a car good are different from those that make it interesting. The Jeep Wrangler is a glorious exception, taking you back to an era of old-school variability and laughing at sober perfectionism.
I spent several hours trying to identify why I enjoyed the Wrangler so much, despite its poor ride comfort and limited cabin access.
The theory that what makes a car good is different from what makes it interesting is less prominent nowadays, because today’s cars are decent to excellent on almost every front.
