Letitia James, the New York Attorney General, is facing allegations of housing a fugitive in her Virginia home amid a fraud case.
According to reports, James has allowed her grandniece, Nakia Thompson, and Thompson's three children to live in the residence since 2020.
Thompson is listed as an "absconder" by authorities in North Carolina for failing to complete her probation, which was sentenced for misdemeanor! convictions of assault and battery, and trespassing.
