A jewelry store in a west-end mall was the scene of a smash-and-grab robbery by five masked suspects, according to Toronto Police.
The incident occurred on Saturday evening, with police receiving reports at approximately 7:20 p.m. of a robbery at a store inside a mall on Dufferin St.
According to police, the suspects smashed display cases and stole merchandise, with at least two of them allegedly armed with hammers.
Video shared by Toronto lawyer Caryma Sa’d shows damaged display cases at a store inside Dufferin Mall, with officers having guns drawn while the crime scene is taped off.
The police are investigating the incident.
