Autism Classes Halted Near Kildare Border

Classes for Autistic individuals, held at the Enfield Economic Hub, which also serves as the town's library, have been temporarily stopped due to a complaint.

According to KFM radio station, the complaint involved concerns over noise caused by the classes.

The classes were run by All Ability Learning Ireland, founded by Colleen Mannion, who uses the Rapid Prompting Method (RPM) to help Autistic people communicate.

RPM is a technique that employs letter boards, prompts and keyboards to help non-verbal or minimally verbal Autistic individuals communicate through spelling.
