Saothair Capital Partners Acquires GatesAir
The private equity firm Saothair Capital Partners, LLC has announced the completion of the acquisition of GatesAir through a newly-formed affiliate.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Founded in 1922, GatesAir is a major global designer, manufacturer, and installer of wireless, over-the-air content delivery and public safety communications equipment.
The company is headquartered in Mason, Ohio, with manufacturing facilities in Quincy, Illinois, and Brescia, Italy.
Barbara Spicek will continue to serve as president and chief executive officer.
GatesAir has gone through a number of ownership changes in recent years.
