Arrest of Darius McCrary
Darius McCrary, known for his role as Edward "Eddie" Winslow on the hit show "Family Matters," was recently arrested by the U.S. Border Patrol on felony fugitive charges.
McCrary was taken into custody near the U.S.-Mexico border in California and is being held at a jail in San Diego.
McCrary’s rep, Ann Barlow, stated that a warrant out of Michigan stemmed from a missed court appearance related to his failure to pay child support.
This is not McCrary's first run-in with the law, as he was arrested in 2015 for the same issue. At the time, he posted on Twitter, now X, saying
"All I'm trying to do is raise my son. #BeingDadIsNotAnOption"
