Human Remains Found Near I-15 in Washington City
Human remains have been discovered near Interstate 15 in Washington City, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
A company contracted to clean up litter and debris within the I-15 right-of-way was conducting their work on Monday afternoon when they stumbled upon the remains. They promptly reported the finding to the UHP, who then secured the scene.
“They reported the finding to UHP, who responded to secure the scene. Troopers and SBI agents are investigating,” said Mike Alexander with the Utah Highway Patrol.
The Utah Department of Transportation has blocked the right shoulder on northbound I-15 at MP 14 as the investigation continues.
