On Black Friday evening, shortly after 5:40 pm, a shooting occurred at Westfield Valley Fair mall on Stephens Boulevard in San Jose. The incident caused panic among shoppers as three people were injured.

"There was no ongoing danger," a spokesperson stated, reassuring the public after the incident.
