Holiday Lights Recycling

The City of Fargo offers residents a free program to recycle old or unwanted holiday lights responsibly. Drop off string lights, including LED and older types, at the Household Hazardous Waste Facility located at 606 43½ St. N (or 43 1/2 Street North). Cardboard and Waste Disposal

Residents can use the free Residential Transfer Station at the Fargo Landfill, 4501 7th Ave. N., for extra holiday shopping-generated cardboard and other household waste like non-freon appliances or old furniture. Proof of residency is required; commercial waste and building materials are excluded.
