Ross Duffer, co-creator of Stranger Things, revealed that he and his brother Matt decided to cast their actual high school drama teacher in the show’s upcoming fifth season. The brothers credited this teacher as one of the key influences who first inspired their passion for storytelling and filmmaking.
“She was the one who encouraged us to keep pursuing our creative ideas when we were just students,” said Ross Duffer.

The Duffers shared that bringing their teacher to the set was both emotional and nostalgic.
