After a thrilling game that could have gone either way, Nenagh Ormond booked their place in the Munster semi-final with a 1-point win over Ballymackey, at a packed Clonlara on Sunday.
The game was played in front of a huge crowd, who were treated to a contest that had everything, with both sides playing some fantastic rugby, and creating numerous scoring opportunities.
The first half was a closely contested affair, with both sides trading scores, and going into the break Nenagh were in front 11-10.
The second half was a complete contrast to the first, with Nenagh dominating possession, and creating numerous chances, but Ballymackey defended valiantly, and were rewarded with a try in the 60th minute, which brought them back to within a point.
Nenagh, however, were not to be denied, and with 5 minutes remaining, they scored a crucial penalty, which sealed the win, and booked their place in the Munster semi-final.
Ballymackey will have to settle for a Munster junior cup campaign, which will be a tough ask, but they will be determined to go all the way.
