A 25-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left two people injured in Washington, D.C. on Friday night.
According to police, the suspect, whose name has not been released, opened fire on a group of people near the intersection of 14th and U Streets NW.
Two people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Witnesses described the scene as "chaotic" and "terrifying."
"I was just walking down the street and I heard a bunch of shots. I turned around and I saw people running and screaming," said one witness.
