Motorbikes with petrol engines will be phased out in the UK by 2030, the government has announced.
Speaking in the House of Commons, transport minister Rachel Maclean said: "We want to make sure that the UK is a leader in the transition to electric vehicles."
The ban on new petrol engines will be enforced from 2030, with hybrids allowed until 2035.
