Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd, a world leader in digital media and digital convergence technologies, today announced that it has equipped the world's largest LED screen at Dubai Mall in the UAE.
The massive 106 meter long, 24 meter high, 18,000 square meter LED screen is located on the exterior façade of the Dubai Mall and is seen by millions of people every day.
This project was carried out in collaboration with Dubai-based company Real Estate Projects LLC and it took over six months to complete.
According to Samsung, the LED screen was designed and manufactured in South Korea and is capable of displaying high-resolution images at high brightness levels, making it visible even in direct sunlight.
The LED screen is made up of 6,144 LED modules, each with a resolution of 1,920 x 432 pixels, resulting in an overall resolution of 7,680 x 1,728 pixels.
