Ash Bradnam departs Nova 106

Ash Bradnam, who was the Drive host on the Brisbane radio station, has announced she is leaving Nova 106.9 after more than 10 years with the network.

Bradnam made the announcement on social media, saying it was a "difficult decision" to make but felt it was the right time for her to move on. She did not provide a reason for her departure in a statement to The Courier-Mail.

Bradnam started her career in radio at Nova's Gold Coast station before moving to Brisbane in 2009. She has been a core part of the Nova 106.9 team, hosting various shows and events throughout her time with the network.

Ash Bradnam said in a statement, "It's been an incredible journey, and I've made lifelong friends and had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented people in the industry."

She added, "I'm grateful for the experience and the memories, but I feel like this is the right time for me to move on and explore new opportunities."

Bradnam's last day on air was Friday, but she will continue to be involved with the station in a part-time capacity.

Bradnam's departure comes after another Nova 106.9 host, Matt Collins, left the station in 2020.
