The Hospital Clínic has launched the book For a Bioethics Culture. Casebook 2010–2021, which collects 16 real ethical cases analyzed by the Clinical Ethics Committee between 2010 and 2021. The presentation took place at the Barcelona College of Physicians.
The publication was prepared by the Clinical Ethics Committee of Hospital Clínic in collaboration with the Hospital itself, the Chair of Legal Medicine, Professional Responsibility and Clinical Safety at the University of Barcelona, and the Barcelona College of Physicians.

The casebook was coordinated by Ferran Masanés and Ferran Céspedes, former secretary of the Clínic’s Clinical Ethics Committee. It presents a series of authentic clinical situations, each accompanied by a summary of the case, an explanation of the ethical dilemma, bioethical reflections, and the committee’s conclusions and recommendations.
