Leonardo DiCaprio, known for working with Christopher Nolan on the acclaimed film Inception, recently shared which of the director’s films he values most. Surprisingly, his choice wasn’t the sci-fi masterpiece he starred in.
DiCaprio played a memory thief in Nolan’s Inception, a mind-bending story that became a cult classic and earned multiple Oscar nominations. Despite this success, when asked to name his favorite Nolan movie during a conversation with Benicio del Toro while promoting their new film One Battle After Another, he picked a completely different title.
During an interview with Collider, both Leonardo DiCaprio and Benicio del Toro discussed their favorite films by celebrated directors.
DiCaprio quickly replied, “Dark Knight,” and Del Toro immediately agreed.
Finally, when asked about Stanley Kubrick, both actors struggled to decide. DiCaprio said it was “tough,” but eventually, both men selected 2001: A Space Odyssey. DiCaprio also mentioned several other Kubrick classics, acknowledging the difficulty of choosing just one favorite.
Leonardo DiCaprio surprised fans by revealing that his favorite Christopher Nolan film isn’t Inception, but The Dark Knight, showing his admiration for Nolan’s broader body of work.
