Jetstar to Link Sunshine Coast with Bali and Singapore

Starting in March 2026, Jetstar will begin flights from the Sunshine Coast to Denpasar, operating three times a week on its A321neo LR aircraft. The route will provide over 70,000 seats annually and will continue onward to Singapore.

This new connection will mark Jetstar’s tenth direct service between Australia and Bali and its fourth from Queensland, following the launch of Gold Coast–Denpasar flights earlier this year.

“We’re proud to be the first airline to connect the Sunshine Coast to Bali and Singapore. It’s a great win for travellers wanting an easy international getaway,” said Jetstar chief executive Stephanie Tully.

Tully added that direct flights to Bali will save passengers the long drive to Brisbane, giving them more time to enjoy the island’s tropical attractions. She also noted that Jetstar, as the largest carrier in South-East Queensland, will keep expanding to meet strong demand for low-cost travel.

“For the first time, locals can fly direct to Bali for an island holiday. Our research shows that this is a highly sought-after destination for locals,” said Sunshine Coast Airport chief executive Chris Mills.

Mills described the service as a “game changer” for the Sunshine Coast, highlighting its benefit not only for leisure travel but also for improved access to Singapore via Bali, a major global transport hub.
