Jetstar Launches Direct Flights from Sunshine Coast to Bali
Jetstar (JQ) will begin direct flights between Sunshine Coast Airport (MCY) and Bali’s Denpasar Airport (DPS) starting 25 March 2026. Tickets will be available from $199, with convenient onward connections to Singapore (SIN) via Denpasar.
Flight Details and Frequency
- The new service operates three times weekly on Airbus A321LR aircraft.
- Flight duration is approximately six hours each way.
- About 70,000 seats will be available annually.
Impact for Sunshine Coast Travellers
This route is Jetstar’s first direct connection between Sunshine Coast and Bali, eliminating the need for travellers to drive to Brisbane (BNE) for international flights. Passengers can now travel directly to Bali’s beaches and cultural sites without layovers.
