Marks & Spencer (M&S) announced an expanded logistics partnership with Zalando that could reduce delivery times across continental Europe by up to three days. The deal builds on their existing collaboration that began in 2022, when M&S partnered with Zalando, About You, and Amazon to fulfill European marketplace orders.
Starting early next year, Zalando’s B2B logistics solution ZEOS will begin servicing M&S’s entire online direct-to-consumer business in continental Europe. This upgrade means Zalando will handle distribution for fashion, home, and beauty products across 21 markets.
Zalando already works with other major UK retailers, including Next, reflecting strong interest among British companies to strengthen their presence on the European continent. M&S emphasized the strategic value of the partnership, citing significant growth with Zalando last quarter.
“In the last quarter, we have seen rapid online growth with Zalando sales up 131% compared with last year.”
The ZEOS logistics model provides M&S with a unified inventory system and an advanced order management platform. This integration enables greater efficiency through a single stock pool and improved delivery coordination for customers across multiple markets.
Author’s summary: M&S deepens its Zalando partnership, adopting ZEOS logistics to unify its European e-commerce operations and cut delivery times while expanding across 21 markets.
