The fourth Twenty20 international between New Zealand and the West Indies was washed out due to rain on Monday, after less than seven overs of play. With the interruption, the match at Saxton Oval in Nelson was abandoned.

Match Summary

West Indies reached 38-1 in 6.3 overs after being asked to bat. The only wicket to fall was Alick Athanaze, who scored 21 runs before being caught by Daryl Mitchell off a James Neesham delivery.

Fellow opener Amir Jangoo remained unbeaten on 12, while captain Shai Hope was not out on three when the rain ended the game.
