A sequel to the 2025 sports action hit F1 starring Brad Pitt is reportedly in development. Irish Oscar-nominated actress Kerry Condon revealed that producer Jerry Bruckheimer has discussed with her the possibility of returning for a follow-up film.
The original movie premiered in June 2025 and featured Pitt as Sonny Hayes, an ageing, free-spirited racer who earns a second shot at Formula 1 glory. Condon portrayed Kate McKenna, the technical director of his struggling team, and the two characters shared a romantic storyline filled with tension and chemistry.
