South Korean conglomerate Hyundai Motor Group (HMG) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Singapore’s Economic Development Board (EDB) to explore opportunities for developing low-carbon technologies, including hydrogen solutions.
The EDB will support HMG’s involvement in initiatives that promote these technologies, potentially partnering with local companies and innovation collaborators to advance technological progress.
This collaboration builds upon an already established relationship through the Hyundai Motor Group Innovation Center Singapore (HMGICS), HMG’s first global open innovation hub and testing ground.
Jaeha Park, Vice President and Head of the Global Hydrogen Business Sub-Division at Hyundai Motor Group, said:
