Punjabi actor Jimmy Shergill's father, Satyajit Singh Shergill, has passed away at the age of 90.
Jimmy Shergill was born in a Sikh family and originally hails from Deokahia village, Sardarnagar, in the Gorakhpur district of Uttar Pradesh.
Notably, Jimmy Shergill once shared a tumultuous relationship with his father after he cut his hair and shaved his beard, which deeply angered his father, who donned a turban till his death.
The Bhog and Antim Ardas will be held on October 14 at Gurudwara Dhan Pothohar Nagar in Santacruz West, Mumbai.
