Current Distribution of Wealth is a Detriment to Our Freedom

Many people today question whether America is truly a democracy or if it is moving toward autocracy. Although most citizens have the right to vote, this alone may not guarantee true freedom.

According to the Federal Reserve, 10% of the population controls 67% of the country's wealth. This stark concentration of assets raises concerns about freedom and democracy.

"How are we free when a single person (our president) can shut off 42 million people from the food they need?"

Furthermore, one-third of these assets would be enough to completely pay off the entire federal debt, which underscores the imbalance in wealth distribution.

"How can it be a democracy when one-third of those assets would pay off the entire federal debt?"

Author's Conclusion

The extreme concentration of wealth undermines democratic principles and threatens the true freedom of the nation.
