The original cast of Scrubs has reunited as Zach Braff and Donald Faison return to Sacred Heart Hospital, joined by new doctors and interns. The beloved American medical comedy, which originally aired from 2001 to 2010, is making a nostalgic comeback with a new sequel series.
The new season will continue from the events of Season 9, which introduced a new group of interns played by Kerry Bishé, Michael Mosley, Dave Franco, and Eliza Coupe. Creator Bill Lawrence has indicated that some of these characters may return, although the focus remains on the original cast.
ABC promises the series will explore how “medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time.”
Fans responded enthusiastically to the behind-the-scenes footage, sharing excitement in the comments. One fan noted,
"Carla hasn’t aged a day!!"
This reboot of Scrubs promises to blend nostalgia with fresh perspectives, reuniting fans with beloved characters while exploring modern medical challenges.
