The National Weather Service has issued an updated dense fog advisory for the Foothills of the Northern Blue Mountains in Oregon, effective until 10 a.m. Wednesday morning.
"Visibility as low as 1/4 mile in dense fog." "Low visibility could make driving conditions hazardous," explains the weather service. "If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you."
The advisory indicates that widespread dense fog has developed, reducing visibility to a quarter mile or less. These conditions can make travel hazardous, and drivers should take extra precautions or delay trips when possible.
Dense fog in Oregon’s Northern Blue Mountain foothills could severely limit visibility and make driving hazardous; motorists are urged to drive slowly and use appropriate lights to stay safe.
